Dear Ashton,
You are just the most adorable little man. You are so lovable. You are going to break many hearts when you get older. That smile of yours is just beautiful. So many people comment on how lovely it is. Oh and your laugh is so contagious.
Ok the 3 year old challenging stage has started at times and OH MY GOD can you frustrate me. You are sooooo determined and if you have something in your head its very hard to change your mind. You do things I am sure just to test me. You fav saying when I ask you to do something such as pick up the toys is no mum I am busy. There is no way I can make you. Although counting to 10 always makes you stop being naughty even though I don't think I have very rarely smacked you when getting to 10 (suppose that doesn't happen much anyway) like with Zack, obviously seeing Zack get it has been enough for you.
You just LOVE pre school. You ask every day if its pre school day and if its not you get upset. Sometimes even crying. I am thinking about sending you Mondays to you love it so much. Yes its to help me out as well but I wouldn't even think about it if you were not so desperate to go every day. The teacher tell me what great days you have every time I pick you up. Today you had little boys saying bye Ashton as you left. It was very cute.
Your speech is improving so much. There is not much I don't understand now. Your pre school teachers think you are fine. I was worried about it for a long time.I was so scared kids would torment you. I never want that for you. I felt much better taking you to the speech therapist and her telling me you will get you on your own so I knew I did everything I was meant too. AND they were right.
You love me reading to you every night before you go to sleep. We read 2 or 3 books a night. You won't let your dad read to you it has to be me which I love bc I enjoy it too. You also refuse to give your dad a kiss or say goodnight to him. No matter how much I ask you to you refuse. Zack has borrowed some dinosaur books from school the last 2 weeks and you have loved reading them. Room on the Brook, Rudie Nudie and spiderman are some of your favs at the moment.
You are also enjoying playing with Zack's skylanders just making up games with them not playing the actual game. Going outside would be a fav, you love playing with dizzy and you can tell Dizzy loves you even though I think you are to rough with him at times. You are only playing but I am scared you are going to hurt him and he will bite you. You are his fav though you can tell. You also are into trying to catch mummy cat you run up tp her so fast that you scare her and she runs away. Makes me giggle every time, I keep telling you to walk to her slowly and she won't run. You just won't listen though. Playing ZOMBIES with Manly pop is another favourite. You laugh so much as he is chasing you. You just love your pop. When Manly nan comes home you run out to her screaming nan, nan so excited that she's home and hug her. Oh how could I forget coming shopping with me on mondays to get the groceries you LOVE. I suppose its bc its something just you get to do with me (besides Koen). You always rope me into buying you some chicken thing in the bay marie for lunch and alway a big packet of chips.
Ashton please never change. Continue being the most darling, smiling, contagious man. You will get along way if you do.
